The Judith J. Saklad Memorial Award*

The Judith J. Saklad Memorial Award celebrates the life and work of the late Judith J. Saklad. Dr. Saklad was Clinical Pharmacologist and Clinical Coordinator of Pharmaceutical Services at San Antonio State School and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and Pharmacology at The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. This award is presented annually to a senior psychiatric pharmacy practitioner who has achieved a level of professional distinction and demonstrates a continuing dedication to the practice of psychiatric pharmacy. CPNP is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2020 Judith J. Saklad Memorial Award, Julie Dopheide, PharmD, BCPP, FASHP, Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California.
 

Virtual CPNP 2020 Kick-Off Happy Hour*

Kick off Virtual CPNP 2020 by reconnecting with your peers and former colleagues! Although we're meeting virtually this year, we invite you to set aside 1 hour on Friday, April 24 to reconnect with one or a whole group of your friends. FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangouts, and Zoom are great options for virtual meet-ups. Find a time that works for your group, and get this on your calendar!

You may also join CPNP for a Virtual CPNP 2020 Kick-Off Happy Hour on Friday, April 24 from 4:00-5:00 PM Central (5:00-6:00 PM Eastern, 3:00-4:00 PM Mountain, 2:00-3:00 PM Pacific)! CPNP will present a brief program, recognize the committees that worked so hard to put on this great event, and more! Be sure to register so you receive the link and call information.

Idea Exchanges*

Several hours have been reserved for discussions on current issues in practice. Led by CPNP Communities, these sessions allow for peer-to-peer collaboration and information sharing between attendees who share a special interest or practice setting and involve exchange and dialogue on issues of common interest.
