AAPP Foundation Announces Winner of the AAPP Outcomes Initiative 2024 Research Grant
In 2023, AAPP committed up to $500,000 to directly support multi-site research related to the impact of psychiatric pharmacists on patient care through the AAPP Foundation. The RFP was published in June 2023, and the Q&A webinar was well-attended in July 2023. In September, 6 pre-applications were received and evaluated by the taskforce. After multiple points of feedback, the 2 finalists submitted their applications on April 1, 2024.

AAPP Announces Research Award Recipients Presented at 2024 AAPP Annual Meeting
Abstracts and Awards Council Chair Kristin Waters, PharmD, BCPP, BCPS, is pleased to recognize the 2024 AAPP Research and Practice Award winners and finalists. Announced April 7, during AAPP’s 27th Annual Meeting, these awards recognize excellence in investigators presenting abstracts at the AAPP Annual Meeting. Award Finalists presented platform presentations and displayed their posters during the meeting.
Over 200 abstracts will be featured at the AAPP Annual Meeting. Posters will be displayed Monday, April 8-Tueday, April 9, 2024. Students, pharmacists, and other health care professionals will man their posters on Monday while resident and fellow posters will be manned on Tuesday. A special thank you to the abstract reviewers who participated in making these selections.
