The American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) has created this policy in order to document our ongoing commitment to privacy. This policy will help you to understand how personally identifiable information is obtained and how such information may be shared.
Users can find out about changes in this privacy policy by visiting this page. This statement was last revised on August 25, 2022. AAPP encourages users to read this policy thoroughly and use it as a point of reference for the future.
Our site uses cookies to keep track of your visit to our website. This cookie is restricted to access only by the AAPP website and doesn't contain any confidential information such as credit card numbers. The site may use cookies to restrict access to some content. AAPP members who elect to visit the site with the cookies option turned off in their browser might not be able to access restricted content.
Browser type, IP address, referring address, access time, transfer rate, and files accessed may be logged. AAPP periodically uses this information to analyze traffic on the site. Aggregate information generated from the logs may be shared or posted on the site.
The site collects personal information when you fill out the following forms: profile, membership application, abstract submission, surveys, and meeting registration. The information collected includes (but is not limited to) name, title, home address, business address, practice information, and email. Some of this information may be shared on this site as a part of the membership listing, and you may restrict the information shown by managing your preferences online. We use member information from the forms to send email, newsletters and event announcements. A credit card processing company is used to process credit cards. All credit card information is used only for billing purposes and is not stored or retained by AAPP. Members may choose to decline receiving future mailings. Additional information collected, including demographic information, may be used for internal organizational purposes but will not be shared publicly with any identifiers. AAPP may compile and distribute any information in its database in an aggregated de-identified format.
AAPP members can have their information updated or information access restricted by using the My AAPP Profile pages or by contacting the AAPP office.
