Care has the power to make a life-changing impact on those affected by mental health conditions. Through our own words and actions, we can shift the social and systemic barriers that prevent people from building better lives. During Virtual CPNP 2020, the CPNP Foundation emplored all attendees to show how #cpnpcares.
The CPNP Foundation collected donations for CenterPointe, an organization in CPNP’s home office community of Lincoln, Nebraska, that offers more than 35 programs in the areas of crisis response, treatment, rehabilitation, housing, and peer support for individuals living with mental illness and substance use disorders. Hundreds of items were donated including comforters, socks, underwear, deoderants, toothbrushes and toothpaste, can openers, backpacks, sleeping bags, women's hygeine products, winter gloves and hats, trash bags, detergent, and other cleaning products.
