Volunteers Make AAPP’s World Go Round

Every year, over 250 members contribute their time and talent to AAPP as members of committees, the Board of Directors, task forces, and editorial boards. This number doesn’t count the members who author, speak, represent AAPP at meetings, and much more. Though National Volunteer Week was in late April, we rely on and celebrate our member volunteers year-round and are excited to share just a few volunteer testimonials. Cheers to our AAPP volunteers!

I am always looking for ways to give back to the next generation of psychiatric pharmacists as was done for me.

This knowledge has been used to change some of our local prescribing policies and practices. Additionally, my connections have provided access to people within the AAPP community who have expertise in subjects outside my area of experience.
