Amazing Location, Quality Programming
Hosted at the Downtown Hyatt Regency Atlanta, less than 6 blocks away from Olympic Centennial Park, the World of Coca-Cola, and the Georgia Aquarium, AAPP 2023 kicks off midday Sunday, April 16!
With the pre-meeting in March, AAPP 2023 will kick off on Sunday afternoon with three amazing sessions, including an opportunity for members to share their mental health story in a session called “Stories Among Us.” Sunday’s schedule also features a student education track and award platform presentations followed by the AAPP Forum On Our Future, the Saklad Award Presentation, and the welcome reception honoring outgoing AAPP President, Cindy Gutierrez.
The next two and a half days are filled with even more high quality programming from leading experts on topics from Understanding the Unique Mental Health Needs of the Refugee Population to Affirming Care for Transgender Patients to Management of Psychiatric Emergencies to Buprenorphine Initiation Strategies. Recertification sessions (aka the Clinical Application Series) will continue to be offered Sunday and Monday during the meeting. See the full schedule* online.

Opportunities to Engage and Network
Sprinkled throughout AAPP 2023 will be opportunities to participate in a number of grant-supported symposia and product theaters to learn about the newest drugs and devices. Additionally, two poster sessions will feature the exciting research being conducted across the nation, while Idea Exchanges presented by AAPP Communities provide an additional opportunity for peer-to-peer discussion, networking, and dialogue on current topics. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to reconnect with peers and colleagues from near and far in Atlanta.
Attend In-Person or Virtually
AAPP continues to require up-to-date vaccination for COVID-19, according to the CDC for Annual Meeting attendance. AAPP is committed to following all CDC guidelines as well as state, local, and corporate (hotel) policies to be mindful of the safety of attendees, staff, speakers, vendors, and supporters. Health and safety measures for the event will be published by April 1, 2023.
Those unable to attend in-person for health or any other reasons have the option to attend virtually!
