All CPNP Annual Meeting attendees, speakers, and CPNP Staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 according to current CDC guidelines. Those with a medical exemption or an objection to COVID-19 vaccinations are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting virtually. All attendees will be asked to confirm their vaccination status during registration.
CPNP is committed to following all CDC guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as state, local, and corporate (hotel) requirements to be mindful of the safety of attendees, staff, speakers, vendors, and supporters. Marriott’s Commitment to Clean outlines its current policies and procedures for COVID-19.
Before CPNP 2022
By registering for the event, in-person attendees agree to abide by all event protocols and to follow necessary precautions. Prior to April 22 at 11:59 PM Central, an in-person registration can be converted to a virtual registration by emailing info@cpnp.org, and CPNP will refund the difference less a $75 handling fee. After April 22, an in-person registrant can still attend virtually but without a refund. Poster presenters cannot convert to virtual registration.
In-person attendees should follow all CDC guidelines regarding positive tests and exposures prior to the event. If you need to convert to a virtual registration, please follow the directions above. Note: All registrants (in-person and virtual) will have access to live streaming via cpnp.org/2022 during the event should symptoms develop.
At CPNP 2022
Please monitor your health daily!
All attendees are asked to wear masks at all CPNP events and in meeting spaces unless you are actively eating, drinking, or presenting (masks are required at all times in the poster hall). Attendees are asked to come prepared with their own mask. To provide a courteous and respectful way to gauge you and your colleague's comfort levels before approaching, CPNP will provide green (Hi-Fives, Handshakes and Hugs), yellow (Elbows or Fist bumps), and red (Prefer non contact – Wave) self-serve stickers at the designated Health Station near the Registration desk for you to place on your badge. CPNP encourages appropriate social distancing, and session rooms are designed with extra spacing as allowed. Please wear your masks and be courteous to others around you.
In-person attendees present at the CPNP 2022 Annual Meeting in San Antonio should not attend any CPNP programming or event if they feel ill or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. Remember, everyone has access to virtual streaming – you can watch in your room any time and still experience live Annual Meeting sessions!
After CPNP 2022
Please contact CPNP at info@cpnp.org if you receive a positive COVID-19 test result within 7 days of departing the event. Any private health or personal data that may be received by CPNP in connection with such measures and precautions will be treated as confidentially.
Any public space where other people are present may hold an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases. By registering for and attending the event in San Antonio, you agree to voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure and agree not to hold CPNP or any of their affiliates including partners, sponsors, employees, volunteers, or sponsored venues liable for illness.
Attendees acknowledge that due to the impact of COVID-19, room capacities may be reduced due to social distancing and all sessions and events are on a first-come, first-served basis. To maintain appropriate distancing, attendees agree to not move chairs or adjust seating arrangements within conference spaces.
