AAPP is committed to creating and fostering a diverse community of pharmacists and pharmacy leaders to help address disparities in health care. As included in our DEI plan, AAPP is pleased to announce the inaugural DEI Grant to the AAPP Annual Meeting, funded by the AAPP Foundation, as one way to support psychiatric pharmacists in attending this important event. The DEI Grant application window is available until December 13, 2024.

DEI Travel Grant Application Now Open
Up to two grants will be awarded to up to two psychiatric pharmacists desiring to attend AAPP 2025. Each grant will provide up to $2500 per recipient toward Annual Meeting registration, flight, lodging at the host hotel, ground transportation, and a meal stipend. As part of the award, recipients must present their DEI work at the AAPP 2025 DEI Community Idea Exchange. This DEI Travel Grant will be administered by the AAPP DEI Committee and available annually, but awarded only when submissions are identified that meet or exceed the grant requirements.

The AAPP Foundation supports the Student Registration Grant Program designed to support interest, learning, and connection to the psychiatric pharmacy profession by supporting student attendance at the American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) Annual Meeting. Applications will be accepted mid-September 2024 through mid-January 2025. Grants are available thanks to the generous support of the AAPP Past Presidents’ Destiny Fund and AAPP members.
