Rosana Steavenson, PharmD, BCPS, BCPP, has been selected as a 2021 BPS Ambassador. Dr. Steavenson will be featured in a series of videos highlighting the impact of BPS Board Certification.

Sara Dugan, PharmD, BCPS, BCPP, has been promoted to New Director of Interprofessional Development at Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Pharmacy and Medicine.

M. Lynn Crismon, PharmD, FCCP, DABCP, BCPP, was named the 2021 recipient of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy’s Paul F. Parker Medal for Distinguished Service to the Profession of Pharmacy. The Parker Medal Selection Committee selected Crismon as the 2021 Medalist on the basis of his lifetime record of contributions that have advanced the professional role of pharmacists and his impactful leadership in academia and psychiatric practice.

Sarah Melton, PharmD, BCPP, BCACP, FASCP, received the Distinguished Faulty Award at Gatton College of Pharmacy, East Tennessee State University. The award is the highest honor an ETSU professor can receive and includes a $5,000 prize funded by the ETSU Foundation and a medallion.

CPNP members Julie Dopheide, PharmD, BCPP, FASHP, and Dri Wang, PharmD, BCPP, recently published Collaboration Between Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and Mental Health Pharmacists to Improve Treatment Outcomes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinics of North America.

Tom Smith, PharmD, BCPP, welcomed twin daughters in August.

Deanna Kelly, PharmD, BCPP, was appointed New Chair of Institutional Review Board for the Maryland Department of Health. This committee reviews and approves all proposed research projects involving human participants for the Maryland Department of Health.
