From Theory to Practice Case Series

This recertification product provides the opportunity to study a complex psychiatric case comorbid with a medical diagnosis and associated complex medication regimen. Focused on the topic of panic disorder in 2017, participants will follow one patient through several encounters over a period of time and have the opportunity to apply evidence based pharmacological and/or nonpharmacological treatment strategies and monitoring recommendations specific to patient needs and their pertinent medical, psychosocial, family, cultural and socioeconomic issues. An instructional webinar and comprehensive, referenced key extends the value of the activity long after completion.

Psychopharmacology Pearls

This recertification product consists of up to five clinical review monographs focused on single disorders, or on one or more distinct aspects of a single psychiatric, neurologic, or substance use disorder. Authored by leading experts in the field and hosted in CPNP’s peer reviewed journal, The Mental Health Clinician (MHC), these practical learning tools will offer therapeutic advice based on both evidence and longstanding clinical experience. These resource rich monographs will be fully referenced and highlight both the evidence base available and also controversial areas of clinical care to showcase strategies of clinical decision-making used by expert clinicians.
