Megan Ehret, PharmD, BCPP
Member at Large to the Board of Directors, Senior Editor Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Course

Our educational expertise and products are some of the greatest assets that CPNP has to offer not only its members, but also to others interested in psychiatric and neurologic pharmacotherapy. Each product provides a specific purpose for members, but as the membership grows and opportunities for education increase, we are working to repurpose and develop more innovative and exciting educational opportunities.

Educational expertise and products play a prominent role in the strategic plan with one our goals being to advance our various educational products to remain innovative and to provide the best value to our members.

This summer and fall, representatives from both the Recertification Editorial Board and the Annual Meeting Programming Committee will meet to develop 5-year written plans to determine future directions of products and potential innovative additions to the recertification and annual meeting offerings. We expect these meetings to be energy filled and integral to the future planning process of additional educational products beyond recertification and the meeting. With the new 5-year plans, CPNP hopes to develop a line of products that can serve our member needs, contribute to our revenue stream, and continue to develop and educate psychiatric and neurologic pharmacists to provide optimal medication therapy to every individual living with one of these disorders.

CPNP will be considering revisions and enhancements to current offerings as overviewed below, as well as planning for rapid action product development in the future. Member input into this process will be critical so when called upon, please complete surveys or participate in focus groups as requested.
