Deanna Kelly, PharmD, BCPP, will be awarded the Dr. William and Carol Carpenter Endowed Professorship in Psychiatry for Mental Illness Research award at the University of Maryland School of Medicine on November 28.

AAPP members Lucas Hill, PharmD, BCACP, Ian McGrane, PharmD, BCPS, BCPP, and Richard Silvia, PharmD, BCPP, were elected to Fellowship in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) at the 2023 ACCP Annual Meeting.

AAPP member Richard Silvia, PharmD, BCPP, completed the ACCP Comprehensive Medication Management Implementation Academy program. Dr. Silvia presented his Capstone project to current members in the Academy at the CMM Consultancy Session on November 13.

VA Pharmacists Improving Access to OUD Treatment

Haley Pals, Michelle Colvard, and Audrey Abelleira were included in a recently released ASHP news story highlighting VA Clinical Pharmacist Practitioners (CPP) providing medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) since the removal of the X-Waiver in January 2023.
