Pre-Meeting Workshop: Leadership Forum (Saturday, 4/25)

The pharmacy and health care professions are experiencing a unique period of transition offering great opportunities. Leaders will emerge to set the course for this period to develop the new health care systems that will impact our future patients and the health of our societies. Residents with a desire to improve their leadership skills in order to position themselves in the changing health care marketplace are invited to attend this workshop which offers opportunities to assess and understand your own leadership styles, network and learn from peers, and engage with senior, successful leaders in psychiatric pharmacy. Pre-Meeting Workshop: Pharmacogenomics (Sunday, 4/26)

The Pre-Meeting Workshop: Pharmacogenomics (Pgx) is a 3-hour, application-based course taking place Sunday, 4/26 from 8:00-11:15 AM. Residents are invited to attend at a discounted rate ($99) to understand the current state of evidence for incorporating pharmacogenomics into patient care plans including when ordering a test is appropriate and how to interpret and educate patients on these results. Learn more!

Resident Education Track (Sunday, 4/26)

An afternoon of programming is specifically designed to meet the needs of current and incoming residents on Sunday, April 26. Learn about creating a new service, becoming a BCPP, and tips for transitioning to the new practitioner role.

CPNP Connect: A Mentoring Opportunity

Residents have an opportunity to be paired with pharmacist members for a one-on-one mentoring opportunity during CPNP 2020. Pairing of the mentor and mentee will be based on the specialty interests of the member and resident as identified during the online registration process. Once paired, mentors and mentees will set up a time to meet during CPNP 2020 to answer questions and discuss future plans.
