Over the past four years there has been a steady growth of student attendees at the Annual Meeting. To meet the needs of these attendees, CPNP offers programming specifically addressing the topics that are important to students at this point in their career path.  Student programming will be the first afternoon of CPNP 2017, Sunday, April 23, opposite of BCPP Recertification programming.

In addition to tailored programming, students have an opportunity to be paired up with pharmacist members for a one-on-one (30 minute) mentoring opportunity during CPNP 2017. Pairing of the mentor to the mentee will be based on the interests of the member and student, to be identified during the online registration process. Once paired, mentors and mentees will set up a time to meet during CPNP 2017 to answer questions and discuss future plans.

Students can take advantage of programming geared specifically to them plus have full access to all that is offered during CPNP 2017, including all programming (i.e., keynote, general, and concurrent sessions) and networking opportunities at reduced registration rates. While programming is extremely valuable, the opportunity to network and “rub elbows” with those that are considered the best of the best, is priceless. Mark your calendars to attend CPNP 2017, April 23 – 26. Online registration will be open in November.

Specialty Roundtable Discussions

To help further expand student knowledge of practice areas in psychiatric and neurologic pharmacy, a variety of experts from differing practice areas will engage in small group discussions on what it is like to work in the specialty areas featured in the earlier showcase presentations.

Information on student programming will continue to be fleshed out over the next few months and speakers confirmed so continue to watch the CPNP Annual Meeting website for additional information.
