CPNP Communities continue to evolve as members provide feedback on how they want to network and learn. One of the consistently popular professional development and networking opportunities has been the Community Webinar where extra emphasis can be placed on discussion and member contributions. With the creation of new communities and the application of lessons learned over the years, we are excited to announce the CPNP Communities Lunch and Learn Webinar Series!

Every Wednesday at 1:00 PM Eastern (12:00 noon Central), there will be a webinar addressing a unique aspect of psychiatric pharmacy practice. The webinars are being developed and facilitated by leaders from each of the CPNP Communities to reflect the distinct needs and interests of their communities. You are encouraged to register for whatever webinars interest you, and most webinars will be recorded in case you are unable to make it.

Watch for the CPNP Professional Development Update on Tuesday mornings to see a list of the upcoming webinars each week. All registered members will receive webinar connection information on the day of the webinar, so make sure to sign up for any webinars of interest. The webinars are still being actively developed and may change based on breaking news, but some of the planned topics include:

  • Hot topics and journal clubs
  • Addressing the Opioid epidemic
  • Medication side effects
  • Tips and tricks for RPDs
  • Delirium in the elderly
  • Off-label use
  • Behavioral health clinical programs in managed care
  • Curriculum and teaching techniques
  • Developing a scholarly manuscript
  • And many more…

Attending the webinars is a great way to get involved in your communities and stay up on the latest issues relevant to you and your practice.

CPNP members can register for the free webinars online at https://aapp.org/community/webinar/2017.
