Art. Music. Ice Cream. Purpose

Consistent with our mission, the CPNP Foundation will be supporting Phoenix-based PSA Art Awakenings at the 2014 CPNP Annual Meeting with an art exhibit. Come and join us on Tuesday, April 29 from 5:30-7 to view up to 30 pieces of art and listen to live music created by Art Awakenings clients all while enjoying an ice cream social courtesy of a CPNP donation. Art will be available for sale and artists will be on-site to discuss their art and journey toward recovery.

PSA Art Awakenings promotes empowerment and recovery through the power of creative expression with children and adults who are challenged by serious mental health, general mental health and substance use conditions. It is a person centered and peer driven program, with staff working collaboratively with artists on their journeys to recovery.

CPNP Foundation Walks for NAMI

Join CPNP Foundation in the seventh annual 5K run/walk benefitting the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI). Walk, run, or sleep in and skip the walk but donate to this wonderful cause. The walk occurs on Wednesday, April 30 on the Arizona Grand grounds. The $20 entrance fee is matched by CPNP and all donated to NAMI.

Whether you are attending CPNP 2014 or not, donations for both of these events are still being accepted at cpnp.org/register and will be accepted on-site at the CPNP Foundation booth or at the CPNP registration desk.
