PGY1 Elective Rotations offered
PGY1 Special Features
This PGY1 residency consists of a required behavioral health rotation with a PGY2 trained, BCPP certified preceptor, in addition to several elective opportunities in behavioral health including substance use disorders and consult and liaison services.
Program Philosophy
Our residency program philosophy is to allow for residents to immerse themselves in a broad array of experiences from ambulatory to acute care, while allowing for focus on specialty areas, including psychiatry.

This residency program is part of Catholic Health of Buffalo, a 5 hospital system, which consists of two other PGY1 residency programs as well as PGY2 opportunities in ambulatory care and emergency medicine.
