Dr. Alipour is a board-certified psychiatric and geriatric pharmacist. Her academic and professional degrees consist of a BS in Psychology (UC San Diego, 2004) and Doctor of Pharmacy (University of the Pacific, 2007). LaGenia Bailey, PharmD, BCPP Dr. Bailey joined the NS-Clinical Development and Research (CDMR) team at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals in March of 2013 as a Senior Area Medical Specialist with responsibilities for the WI, IL, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky region. In 2014, she was promoted to director and won the National Spotlight on Excellence Award. This award is given to one MSL per year for outstanding performance. LaGenia has a passion for advocacy as both a noun and a verb. Noun as the people with lived experience of mental health conditions and verb as what the medical team does each and every day for the patients they ultimately serve. In addition to work as a MSL in her region, her area of work at Sunovion is as the national lead for advocacy in psychiatry & lead for the medical team across all therapeutic areas for patient centricity. She serves as a member of the company wide CDMR patient centricity team to ensure that patients come first in everything Sunovion does. She serves as a corporate advisor and liaison to NAMI, MHA, JED Foundation, DBSA, and National Council for Behavioral Health, the APA Foundation and the Kennedy forum. She works with government affairs to insure access to psychiatric services and medication. |

Judy Curtis, PharmD, BCPP, FASHP Dr. Judy Curtis is a board certified psychiatric pharmacist (BCPP) and a Fellow of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (FASHP). Dr. Curtis received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Utah and her Pharm.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio jointly with the University of Texas at Austin. She completed a Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency at San Antonio State Hospital. Currently, she is a Director, Medical Science Liaison for Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs, and supports Psychiatry. Previously, she was with Ortho-McNeil Janssen Scientific Affairs as a CNS Principal Scientific Affairs Liaison for nine years. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Curtis was an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy in Baltimore, Maryland, Her primary clinical practice was with developmentally delayed adults with severe behavioral problems. She also developed and directed the Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency program for the Mental Health Program at University of Maryland for 16 years. She was also a consultant for the US Department of Justice, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Developmental Disabilities Administration for the State of Maryland, Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center (forensic facility), Washington County ARC and various other state agencies. Dr. Curtis frequently presented at national and regional meetings on various psychiatric topics. She has numerous publications and was the primary author for chapters in Applied Therapeutics and Pharmacotherapy. Dr. Curtis is a founding member of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) and served as the association’s secretary from 2000-2002. She also served on the CPNP Foundation Board from 2014-2016. |

Bethany DiPaula, PharmD, BCPP Bethany A DiPaula, Pharm.D., BCPP is an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Baltimore. She is currently Director of Pharmacy at Springfield Hospital Center and Clinical Pharmacist at the Howard County Health Department, Bureau of Behavioral Health-Substance Abuse. Dr. DiPaula completed her Doctorate in Pharmacy and psychiatric residency training at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Baltimore. She became a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist in 1997. Dr. DiPaula has been active in shaping state collaborative drug therapy management legislation and in developing physician-pharmacist collaborative practices. She created buprenorphine/naloxone-maintenance programs at a federally funded community health clinic and a local health department. She is currently providing psychiatric and medication assisted treatment management at a residential program for homeless men. She received State of Maryland approval for her physician-pharmacist opioid use disorder and psychiatric disorders drug therapy management protocols. Dr. DiPaula served on a State committee to expand access to naloxone through greater pharmacist involvement. She has also served as an instructor for Maryland’s opioid overdose response program curriculum, which trains community members to administer naloxone. She was recognized as an innovative practice award finalist at the 2013 CPNP annual meeting based on her work at the health department. In 2014, she was awarded the Maryland Pharmacists Association Cardinal Health Generation RX Award for demonstrated outstanding commitment to raising awareness of the dangers of prescription drug abuse among the general public and among the pharmacy community. Dr. DiPaula has participated in national committees and programs relating to psychiatric and substance use disorders. She has served as chair of the CPNP Substance Abuse Task Force and is currently serving on CPNP’s Substance Use Steering Committee. Dr. DiPaula is an associate professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Baltimore, where she teaches various psychiatric topics and manages a mental health elective. In addition, she has served as the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency Program Director since 2004. Dr. DiPaula has published a book chapter and journal articles on psychiatric and substance use disorders and has served as reviewer for various manuscripts. |

Michelle Geier, PharmD, BCPP Dr. Geier graduated from University of Washington School of Pharmacy and completed a pharmacy practice PGY1 at the VA Puget Sound and a psychiatric pharmacy PGY2 at University of California San Francisco (UCSF)/San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH). She is a board-certified in psychiatric pharmacotherapy. In 2012, she was hired as a psychiatric clinical pharmacist with SFDPH Behavioral Health Services and in 2016 became the psychiatric clinical pharmacist supervisor. She serves as the residency program director for the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital PGY2 in Psychiatric Pharmacy and is Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF School of Pharmacy. Her professional interests include co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, take-home naloxone, harm reduction strategies, and medication management in homeless populations. |

Kelly Lee, PharmD, BCPP, FCCP Dr. Kelly Lee is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Associate Dean for Assessment and Accreditation at the UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is also the Director of the PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at UCSD Health. She is Board-Certified in Psychiatric Pharmacy and serves on the BPS Specialty Council on Psychiatric Pharmacy. Dr. Lee received her Pharm.D. from UCSF and Master of Advanced Studies in Clinical Research at UCSD. She completed a pharmacy practice residency and a 2-year fellowship in behavioral health sciences at UCSF. Her research interests involve optimization of drug therapy in patients with psychiatric disorders at individual and health system levels. Dr. Lee has written numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and is currently an editor of the Pharmacotherapy Principles and Practice textbook. She is also involved in professional organizations such as College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists and American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and she is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. |

Monica Mathys, PharmD, BCPP Dr. Monica Mathys earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After graduation, she completed a Geriatric Pharmacy Specialty Residency with the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Since completing her residency, Dr. Mathys has continued to work in academia and has held faculty positions at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Midwestern University – Glendale, and currently with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC). Her primary area of interest and research is geriatric psychiatry. In addition to her teaching responsibilities with TTUHSC, Dr. Mathys serves as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Mental Health at the VA North Texas Healthcare System (VANTHCS). She provides clinical services to both the geriatric and general psychiatric inpatient teams and is a provider within the Geriatric Mental Health clinic. Troy Moore, PharmD, BCPP, MS Troy A. Moore received his PharmD from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in 2003. He subsequently attended the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, receiving his Master of Science in Pharmacy in 2005 while completing a 2-year Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at the San Antonio State Hospital and the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS). He joined the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Department of Psychiatry, Division of Schizophrenia and Related Disorders in 2005 and became Assistant Professor in 2007. He joined the STVHCS as Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Psychiatry in 2010 where he serves the Substance Abuse and Domiciliary Programs. He is the author of numerous publications, including the Texas Medication Algorithm Project antipsychotic algorithm for schizophrenia: 2006 update. He is a reviewer for multiple psychiatric and pharmacy journals. He is currently the Director of the ASHP accredited PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at STVHCS, serves as the Chair of the STVHCS Pharmacy Professional Standards Board, serves as Chair of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Specialty Council on Psychiatric Pharmacy, serves as one of the handling editors for the Mental Health Clinician, and previously served as Co-Director of the Advanced Fellowship in Addiction Treatment at STVHCS and the Member-at-Large on the Board of Director for the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic. |

Stephanie Nichols, PharmD, BCPP, BCPS Stephanie Nichols, PharmD, BCPS graduated from the University at Buffalo and completed a residency at Maine Medical Center. She practiced as a full-time clinical pharmacist in adult medicine and psychiatry for nearly a decade before joining academia full time. She is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Husson School of Pharmacy, an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts School of Medicine, and a Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorder Pharmacist practicing at Maine Medical Center. She is highly engaged in the interprofessional education of students, residents, and lifelong learners, both in the classroom and in the clinical setting. Dr. Nichols is actively involved in local service and advocacy and is the Chair of the Maine Pharmacist-Provider Task Force aimed at increasing communication and collaboration, between Maine pharmacists and prescribers, particularly around issues related to the opioid epidemic. She is passionate about reducing stigma around SUDs and about increasing access to evidence-based, high quality, and affordable care for patients with mental illness (including SUDs). Her research has been published in: Pain, Current Psychiatry, J of Psychopharmacology, J of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs, Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacology, and Psychosomatics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family (husband, Eric, and pups, Sage and Basil), visiting lighthouses, gardening, and acrylic painting. |

Alyssa Peckham, PharmD, BCPP Alyssa M. Peckham, Pharm.D., BCPP, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice (Psychiatry): Dr. Peckham earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2014. Her postdoctoral training includes two ASHP-accredited residency programs both in Pharmacy Practice (PGY-1) and Psychiatric Pharmacy (PGY-2), both completed at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System of West Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Peckham is a board certified psychiatric pharmacist (BCPP) with a passion for research in the area of substance abuse, namely of that with opioids and/or gabapentinoids. She is an active member of College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and Arizona Pharmacy Association (AzPA). Ginny Stauffer, PharmD Ginny joined Eli Lilly and Company in 1998. Since that time she has focused her research efforts in Neuroscience in schizophrenia and migraine development. She has led the development and execution of many clinical trials, served as the chair of the olanzapine Investigator Initiated Trial program and has co-authored numerous publications focused on the treatment of schizophrenia, depression and migraine. Ginny earned her BS and PharmD degrees from Purdue University. In 1998, she completed a residency in Geriatric Pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She then was appointed to a faculty/clinical position at Butler University and Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. For the next eight years she practiced with a focus on geriatric and adult psychiatry prior to joining Eli Lilly and Company. |

Amy VandenBerg, PharmD, BCPP Dr. Amy VandenBerg received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan in 1999, then completed ASHP accredited residencies in both Pharmacy Practice and Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. VandenBerg has been Board Certified in Psychiatric Pharmacy since 2002. From 2002-2016, she served a variety of roles at MUSC and the affiliated South Carolina College of Pharmacy including Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and Clinical Pharmacy & Outcomes Sciences; Coordinator of Pharmacy Services for the MUSC Institute of Psychiatry; and Residency Program Director for PGY1 with emphasis in Psychiatry and PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residencies. In 2016, Dr. VandenBerg returned to the University of Michigan where she practices as an inpatient clinical specialist in psychiatry and neurology. Her primary focus is adult inpatient psychiatry, however she also provides clinical consultation to other psychiatry services and has an interest in quality improvement research. Heidi Wehring is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her Psychiatric Pharmacy residency at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and an Academic Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Her primary appointment is to the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center, where her current grant funding focuses on research and clinical treatment of adults and children with severe mental illness.
