Target Audience

We invite you to participate in this online course if you are a pharmacist, nurse, or other health care professional interested in administering and/or learning more about psychotropic long-acting injectables for patients living with serious mental illness or substance use disorders.

Session Summary

Live Peer-to-Peer Virtual Networking Session on December 2, 2024 from 4:00-5:00 CST

This module discusses approaches for overcoming common barriers when implementing LAI administration education into precepting or pharmacy curriculum, different methods for incorporating LAI administration into education, and the resources required to properly instruct learners on LAI administration. This activity includes a 0.5-hour pre-recorded presentation and a 1-hour live, peer-to-peer virtual networking session.

Course Requirements

To receive ACPE credit for this session, you must:

  • Complete the evaluation at the end of the activity.
  • Receive a passing grade (70%).
