Target Audience

If you are a pharmacist, nurse practitioner or other healthcare professional involved in the comprehensive medication management of psychiatric and/or neurological patients, we invite you to participate in this online course.

Mental Health First Aid is sponsored by the AAPP Foundation

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use disorders. The AAPP Foundation is pleased to offer MHFA in the blended, virtual format that involves 2 hours of home study coursework and 6 hours with a certified instructor in a Zoom classroom.

MHFA will be offered on two dates, and space is limited to the first 30, AAPP-member registrants on each date.

Date #1: Monday, November 7: 11:00 AM -4:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Central/8:00-2:00 PM Pacific
Date #2: Wednesday, November 9: 11:00 AM -4:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Central/8:00-2:00 PM Pacific

Registration Deadline: 10/5/22, or before if classes are filled.
Home Study Component: Participants will receive access to home study course materials the week of 10/10/22 and must complete all home study requirements (about 2 hours) before participating in the 6-hour, instructor-led training. Participants will receive home study information from their instructors.

ACPE credit is not available for this blended-virtual course.

Thanks to the generous support of the AAPP Foundation, there is no cost to participants. Please only register after you have confirmed that you are able and committed to participating in the training. Registrants needing to withdraw must email info@aappf.org by 10/4/22.

After the 30-participant threshold is reached for each date, a waitlist will be started. Please email the Foundation at info@aappf.org to be added to the waitlist and specify which date you would like to attend.
