This committee is responsible for the review and validity of Fellowship criteria in support of the FAAPP credential. (Meets: Virtually 1-hour monthly from June-December. Heaviest work is during application review during October-December. Average of 35 hours during six months of the year.)

Charges to the Fellowship Committee

1.
Furthering the work of the Fellowship Task Force, finalize the FAAPP criteria and initial rubrics to be validated through the first class of applicants.
2.
Provide feedback on key messages to be included in membership communications related to the fellow program.
3.
Evaluate fellow applications per the criteria established.
4.
Provide input into the infrastructure and evaluation processes in the first year of the fellow program and assist in creating resources for the committee where appropriate.
5.
Upon evaluating the results of the first class of FAAPP, validate the minimum scores needed to recommend a candidate for recognition as a Fellow.
6.
Following validation update the fellow evaluation rubric based on the results of the first year of applicants to the AAPP fellow program.
7.
On an ongoing basis, analyze candidate and scoring statistics to monitor the criteria, evaluation rubric, and cut-off to ensure the fellowship requirements are unbiased, rigorous, reasonable, transparent, and inclusive.
