Dr. Weber is currently retired from pharmacy. He received a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University in 1973, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1975, and completed a concurrent VA residency. He started psychiatric pharmacy programs in Rhode Island and Washington, and has trained residents and fellows in psychiatric practice. During his career, he was Associate Dean for Professional Pharmacy Education at the University of Washington. He has also held academic appointments at the University of New Mexico, the University of Rhode Island, and Washington State University. He has been a member of the Psychiatry Editorial Advisory Board of The Annals of Pharmacotherapy, served on several committees of the American Society of Healthsystem Pharmacists, served as a Consulting Contributor to Evaluations of Drug Interactions, and has served as an educational leader for foreign study tours. He is an active member of a number of state and national organizations, has made numerous national presentations, and has several publications. He was made a Fellow of the American Society of Healthsystem Pharmacists in 1996 and was Board Certified as a Psychiatric Pharmacy Specialist in 1997. Most importantly he is a husband and a father of two.
