The Psychiatry Resident Community is hosting a webinar entitled “Interviewing Skills: How to get your first job… and keep it.” Speaker Dr. Robert Haight, PharmD, BCPP is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, University of Minnesota Health. His academic roles have included course director and guest lecturer. He is a member of the University of Minnesota, Institutional Review Board Executive Committee and a Medical Committee Chair.
Dr. Haight is the Residency Program Director of the PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in Behavioral Health Services. He is a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Psychiatry, Dr. Haight covers half of the 215 psychiatry inpatients on thirteen units. He provides clinical coverage for adult and geriatric patients. His areas of interest include patients with schizophrenia and dementia. Research interests include improvement of transitions of care for patients discharged from inpatient psychiatric settings, the use of medication decision-making aids for antidepressants and antipsychotic medications, and the use of pharmacogenomics testing to improve outcomes for patients taking psychiatric medications.
