Program Philosophy

Our desire is to train pharmacists to elevate the level of care for all patients in need of psychiatric care. We work to provide diverse experiences in both inpatient and outpatient settings. A primary goal is to provide the mentorship needed so that program graduates can enter the workforce confident in their abilities to provide psychiatric medication management in a variety of settings.

Site Special Features

Residency involves rotations at multiple SSM campuses across the Saint Louis region. We have unique outpatient experiences in a long-acting injection clinic that also is a site for patients receiving esketamine treatment. Rotation at the WISH clinic provides a learning experience caring for pregnant women with substance use disorders.
