The American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) will be offering its third virtual Summit, October 12-13, 2023. Ten hours of continuing education credit for both pharmacy and Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist recertification will be offered. Mental health needs have escalated substantially since the onset of the COVID pandemic and are continuing to climb. Statistics show that mental health treatment is being provided in the primary care setting and pharmacists are increasingly included as important members of the treatment team. The 2023 Summit will offer programming designed for all pharmacists involved in the care of those living with mental illness with emphasis on those illnesses most prevalent in the primary care setting. Based on the 2022 SUD Summit success, anticipated attendance at Summit 2023 is expected to be strong with 350 or more advanced practice psychiatric pharmacists registered for the event.

Two industry symposium slots (one per day) are available as noted in the schedule below. In addition to the expected 350 Summit registrants, industry events will be promoted and made available to all AAPP members and non-members who have an account on aapp.org (over 30,000 users).
