This module provides key insights into optimizing the use of psychotropic long-acting injectables (LAIs) through evidence-based dosing, administration, and treatment plan adjustments. Participants will explore the benefits of newer LAI medications and strategies to reduce barriers to their use. The session will also cover advanced dosing and administration techniques beyond package insert recommendations, as well as approaches to modifying treatment plans when medication errors occur. By the end of this course, learners will have practical tools to enhance LAI use, improve patient outcomes, and manage challenges in clinical practice.
This activity includes a 0.5-hour pre-recorded presentation and a 1-hour live, peer-to-peer virtual networking session. Target Audience
