The AAPP membership has elected three officers to serve on the 2026-2028 Board of Directors. Assuming their offices effective July 1, 2026, will be Drs. Austin Campbell, Julie Cunningham and Bethany DiPaula. These 3 new members will join Drs. Jolene Bostwick, Kelly Gable, Suzanne Harris and Danielle Stutzman on the Board for 2026-2027.
| Incoming President-Elect Julie Cunnigham, PharmD, BCPP, FAAPP Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer Clinical Practice & Research Mayo Clinic Medical Center Rochester, MN Dr. Cunningham is the Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer for Practice and Research for the Department of Pharmacy in the Mayo Clinic Midwest regions. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Iowa and later went on to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Creighton University. She is board certified in psychiatric practice and her clinical practice for nearly 20 years has been in the outpatient chronic pain rehabilitation program. She was a founding member of the Mayo Clinic Opioid Stewardship committee and served 6 years on the Minnesota Department of Human Services Opioid Prescribing Workgroup, the last 2 years as chair. | |
| Incoming Member-at-Large Austin Campbell, PharmD, BCPP, FAAPP Clinical Associate Professor UMKC School of Pharmacy Columbia, MO Dr. Campbell earned his PharmD from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Pharmacy, completed a PGY-1 residency at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, and a PGY-2 in psychiatric pharmacy at the Center for Behavioral Medicine. Before joining the UMKC faculty in 2022, he practiced for nearly 12 years as an acute inpatient psychiatric pharmacist and now provides ambulatory care in internal medicine and pediatrics, focusing on expanding access to mental health services in primary care. Outside of work, Austin enjoys time with family, being outdoors, barbequing, Chiefs football, and traveling. As a newly elected Member at Large, his goals are to strengthen AAPP’s visibility across the health care community, expand mentorship and professional development opportunities, and advance initiatives that highlight psychiatric pharmacists as essential providers in mental health care. | |
| Incoming Member-at-Large Bethany DiPaula, PharmD, BCPP, FASHP, FAAPP Professor, Co-Director of Mental Health Program University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Baltimore, MD Dr. DiPaula received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and completed a psychiatric pharmacy specialty residency at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Her research and teaching focus involves psychiatry and substance use disorders. She serves as co-director for the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Mental Health Program, director of the PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency Program, and consultant with the Maryland Addiction Consultation Service. She provides collaborative medication management services in an outpatient clinic in Baltimore city. |
