BPS is requesting applicants to serve as panelists for standard setting for the specialty certification in Pain Management Pharmacy (BCPMP) examination. Standard setting is the process by which the passing standard (cut score) for the examination is set. Along with the results of statistical analysis, the expertise of subject matter experts in the practice area is critical for establishing a meaningful and fair passing standard. If selected, participation will consist of one 7-hour meeting (on November 4, 2025) via web conference in which you will engage in a review exercise with a representative form of the BCPMP examination, along with a panel of around fifteen other standard setting judges.
