Rutgers students set out with a goal to reduce stigma associated with access to care after incarceration. With funding from an Impact Grant, students reviewed 29 applications from formerly incarcerated individuals with co-morbid mental illness and identified concerns of trust, autonomy, and provider interactions in the mental health care system.
