Industry Symposium With ACPE Credit Don’t Get Mixed Up! Recognizing and Treating Mixed Features Across the Lifespan Supported by Intra-Cellular Therapies

Although categorical classifications may be useful for clinical practice, most of the evidence points to a dimensional (spectrum) view of mood disorders. Depression with co-occurring hypomania (DMX) is much more common than clinicians realize, leading to underdiagnosis and a paucity of appropriate treatment for patients with mixed features. This talk will provide healthcare providers with a detailed look at mixed features across the lifespan, including ways to identify mixed features early and strategies to treat it effectively.
