The live session is complete.

Session Summary

The COVID-19 pandemic caused abrupt changes to traditional live curriculums and continuing education delivery. The rapid transition from in-person interactions to on-line communication brought numerous challenges in the classroom, laboratory settings, clinical rotation experiences, and impacting student mental health well-being. These swift adaptations to deliver training and education virtually with little to no preparation brought obvious struggles for many, but it also likely highlights new possibilities for teaching and learning moving forward. The critical lessons learned and positive attributes gained in this time should be of central interest for anyone in an academic or clinical setting. The goal in this session is to reflect on changes in education delivery over the past year, focus on lessons learned, and critically review potential improvements that could enhance the craft of teaching into the future.
