AAPP Foundation Awards DEI Travel Grant to AAPP 2026

The AAPP Foundation is pleased to announce Melanie Rovelo, PharmD, as the 2026 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Travel Grant recipient.

Medication Education Sessions in Three Languages in a Psychiatric Hospital Setting

This travel grant is designed to support practicing pharmacists who are experiencing financial challenges preventing attendance at the AAPP Annual Meeting and able to showcase a DEI-related initiative, ideally impacting either the development of psychiatric pharmacists or impacting the advancement of patient care for those living with mental illness, including substance use disorders. 

Dr. Rovelo’s initiative will be presented at the AAPP 2026 Annual Meeting DEI Community Idea Exchange in Seattle, Washington on Monday, April 20 at 1 PM local time.
