President’s Message

Dear Colleagues,

Fall is in the air and right around the corner. Along with the fall, comes the election of Board members. Please take the time to nominate our future leaders and exercise your right to vote.

It is truly an uncertain time in the United States with healthcare reform. Many other countries have already implemented national healthcare systems. Due to the rapid changes in healthcare and our desire to increase our legislative voice, CPNP has formed a Legislative Committee to address these needs.

The Program and Recertification Committees are busy wrapping up schedules and speakers for the Annual Meeting, April 18 -22, 2010 which will be held in beautiful, downtown San Antonio. Attendees will be able to enjoy a first class program as well as the Riverwalk, the ambience of Fiesta in San Antonio and beautiful weather.

As always, the CPNP Board is open to constructive suggestions as we improve our organization to meet the needs of our members. Feel free to email me or other board members with your suggestions.

Sincerely,

Ann Richards, CPNP President
