Comparative Effectiveness of Phenobarbital vs Diazepam for Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome

In this study of patients hospitalized for alcohol withdrawal syndrome, there were no differences in hospital length of stay or the need for invasive mechanical ventilation between initiation of phenobarbital vs diazepam.
