The AAPP Ambassador Program

AAPP’s mission is to advance the reach and practice of psychiatric pharmacy and serve as the voice of the specialty. The organization is engaging with many key stakeholders, including legislators, regulators, many levels of the health care system, and the general public. The AAPP Ambassador Program has been created as a core strategy for outreach to administrators and other members of the mental health care team.

The Ambassador Program provides funding and support for AAPP members to present at interprofessional conferences regarding the integration of BCPPs into practice. These are intended to be introductory sessions that appeal both to audiences who are unaware of BCPPs and to audiences who need more information before adding a BCPP to the team.

Although proposals are only reviewed as we approach deadlines, members are welcome to prepare the proposals throughout the year. Manage your Ambassador Program proposals online.
