CPNP is very fortunate to have such qualified individuals that are willing to give their time and effort to our organization. Active category CPNP members, please take the time to exercise your right to vote for our future leaders by logging into the voting center now available through November 20.
Our organization continues to be active in many aspects of healthcare. The new Legislative Committee held their first meeting in mid-October. CPNP is exploring the best way to offer support for the APhA Foundation’s “White paper on expanding the role of the community pharmacist in managing depression.” In addition, CPNP is investigating ways to support Senator Stabenow’s bill that would establish a national network of centers of excellence for the treatment of depressive disorders.
The Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 18 -22, 2010 in San Antonio. You can check out the details of the meeting at: http://cpnp.org/ed/meeting/2010. We hope to see many of you at this outstanding educational meeting.
