To recognize AAPP student chapters for their outstanding service and commitment to the mission of advancing psychiatric pharmacy, the following awards are available: 1) Chapter of the Year, and 2) Outstanding Community Service Award

General information and eligibility:
- AAPP collegiate chapters must be in good standing (not on probation).
- Chapters may be considered for both awards though they may not receive both awards in the same year.
- Up to one chapter will be selected for each award, and the selected chapter(s) will receive a printed certificate of recognition at the AAPP Annual Meeting following the award announcement.
- The recipient chapter(s) will also be invited, but not required, to speak about their service or overall chapter activities during the Collegiate Chapter Meeting at the AAPP Annual Meeting.
- Honorable mention chapters may be selected for each award, at the discretion of the student committee.
- Award recipient(s) will be announced by September 1 of each year.

Chapter of the Year
Description: The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes an AAPP Collegiate Chapter that has been exemplary and well-rounded in the areas of recruitment, infrastructure, community service and engagement, and other activities designed to promote the understanding and pursuit of psychiatric pharmacy as a profession.
Criteria & Selection:
- All AAPP Collegiate Chapters in good standing (not on probation) who submit their annual report by the required deadline will be considered for this award.
- No additional application is needed.
- Reports will be evaluated according to the provided rubric.
Faculty advisor feedback and report formatting/organization will be used as tie breakers, if needed.

Outstanding Community Service Award
Description: The Outstanding Community Service Award recognizes a specific activity, on or off campus, in which an AAPP Collegiate Chapter had a significant role and impacted others.
Criteria & Selection:
- AAPP Collegiate Chapters desiring this award may nominate 1 unique, innovative, and/or impactful activity completed in the most recent/current academic year by submitting responses of no more than 250 words per question, as requested in the Annual Report template. Questions request extended information about the chapter’s role, activity goals, budget, service and impact, innovation, and advancement of psychiatric pharmacy.
- No additional application is needed.
- Activities will be evaluated based on the submitted responses.
Once a chapter has received this award for an activity, the activity is ineligible to receive this award again unless there is substantial growth or change identified within the scope of the activity.
