Course Description
Increase your understanding of the neurobiological relationship and considerations of ADHD and Stimulant Use Disorders. Through case-based instruction, learn how to develop a care plan supported with rating scales and assessment tools while taking into account the special considerations for those with co-occurring disorders.
Learning Objectives
- Illustrate the neurobiological relationship between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and stimulant use disorder (StUD).
- Choose rating scales and assessment tools to support accurate monitoring of ADHD with StUD.
- Construct pharmacotherapeutic regimens for ADHD in individuals with comorbid StUD.
