Program Philosophy
This specialty residency balances direct patient care, research, and teaching opportunities. Primary service responsibilities include rounding with the interdisciplinary team (inpatient/outpatient) to design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific and programmatic therapeutic regimens that incorporate the principles of evidence-based medicine. The resident will gain experience in the adult, child and adolescent psychiatry, longitudinal clinic for serious mental illness (long-acting injection clinic), maternal addiction treatment, chemical/substance dependence, integrated primary care and original research.
Site Special Features
Residency involves practice at multiple pharmacist-run clinics including a Long Acting Therapy (LAT) clinic, esketamine clinic, and Medication assisted treatment clinic.
