Target Audience

If you are a pharmacist, nurse practitioner, or other health care professional involved in the comprehensive medication management of individuals living with mental health and/or substance use disorders, we invite you to participate in this online course.

Session Summary

Delivering effective patient care is about treating the person as a whole in addition to managing disease. There is a growing body of evidence that delineates a clear association between psychiatric and CV health. Pharmacists should be well versed in screening for and managing psychiatric conditions in patients with or at risk of cardiac disease, including a comprehensive understanding of drug-drug and drug-disease interactions for these co-occurring disorders.
