Product Summary
The AAPP Psychiatric Pharmacy Specialty Mock Exam is a compilation of practice questions to help you prepare for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Psychiatric Pharmacy Specialty examination. The mock exam is composed of 150 questions based on the content domains and knowledge statements included in the BPS content outline.
The mock exam is constructed to simulate the BPS Psychiatric Pharmacy Specialty examination experience and is developed and reviewed by Board-Certified Psychiatric Pharmacists. An answer key containing explained answers, references, domains, and knowledge statements is also provided. Strong performance on the mock exam should not be considered a guarantee to pass the BPS Psychiatric Pharmacy Specialty examination. Though AAPP is a BCPP recertification provider, the association has no role in the development of the BPS exam.

- Focus your content review and preparation on identified areas of weakness. The Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Book and BCPP Prep Series are AAPP preparatory products that provide detailed reviews of material in the BPS content outline.
- Review the answer key after only after completing the exam as many times as you like for practice. The answer key includes correct answers and corresponding rationales, references, and the domains and knowledge statements. The answer key can help clarify concepts but should not be used as a study guide. The value of the mock exam is in identifying areas of weakness, learning to pace yourself under timed conditions, and building test endurance, rather than memorizing answers to specific questions.
- Material presented in the mock exam may not appear on the actual examination. Conversely, the actual examination will likely contain questions on content that are not contained in the mock exam. The mock exam is one tool to gauge your preparedness for sitting for the actual exam.
- You can take the mock exam as many times as you need but subsequent retakes are of the same 150 questions.
