By Cynthia Kirkwood, PharmD, BCPP-CPNP Foundation President

I hope that your professional travel plans this year include the CPNP Annual Meeting, April 7-10, in Salt Lake City. The CPNP Foundation Board has been busy at work planning activities for everyone to become involved in our BeThe1To campaign and events at CPNP 2019.

You can do your part to BeThe1To prevent suicide by becoming an active participant during CPNP 2019. Participate by signing the banner to commit to BeThe1To save a life and encourage others to take action by sharing a selfie in front of the banner wall (just watch out for photo bombers!) while wearing your BeThe1To t-shirt (limited quantities available for purchase during CPNP 2019).

As an update, the CPNP Foundation Board will be re-examining its future direction in conjunction with CPNP as its parent organization. Both Boards will meet at the Annual Meeting to review our current initiatives and more tightly align with CPNP. We will keep CPNP members updated as we make progress on these important areas.

Please swing by the CPNP Foundation Booth during CPNP 2019. As you commit to BeThe1To save a life, give us your feedback on the Foundation’s initiative and future.

As always, the CPNP Board appreciates your generosity and we are forever grateful for the kind support of the CPNP membership over the years. See you in Salt Lake City!
