Industry Showcase Opportunities

AAPP is pleased to offer your company an opportunity to present new research findings, provide product details, give demonstrations, and highlight new products to a key audience. These sessions are promotional and are not eligible for continuing education contact hours. Showcases must be delivered by company designated speaker(s). All programs must be in compliance with federal and state laws that regulate the marketing and promotion of reimbursable health care products.

Specific time slots have been designated for showcases or symposia Sunday through Tuesday of the meeting and are available for qualified and accepted proposals. No AAPP programming occurs during these times other than, possibly, small community events. Attendance at showcases varies and is dependent on the topic, speakers, and the time slot selected as noted below. These sessions are promotional and are not eligible for continuing education contact hours. Showcases must be delivered by company-designated speaker(s). Showcase slots can be no longer than 1 hour and the time block below would be adjusted accordingly. Industry symposia with grant support receive first priority and will be accepted upon receipt of the application and grant acceptance documentation while showcase slots will be awarded after January 14, 2024. Showcase Fees Include

• Dedicated event page with full descriptor at aapp.org/2024 as well as inclusion in the interactive online conference schedule
• Listings within AAPP's monthly electronic registrant and membership e-blasts
• On-site signage and inclusion in on-site announcements
• One-time use of registrant mailing list for invitation issuance only
• Meeting/Event room and set-up at the Omni Orlando Resort
• Registration desk outside the industry event room
• Access to a speaker ready room
• QR coded badges for your efficient scanning of attendee badges via cell phone
• Appropriate meal service for the event paid for and arranged by AAPP (breakfast for up to 100 attendees, lunch for up to 250 attendees, or break service for up to 100 attendees)
• Live stream of the in-person event to virtual participants logged into the AAPP web site with a free or member account. The live stream will consist of the content appearing on the projector screen, the speaker, as well as the audio. It will not include any interactive elements for virtual participants.
• In-person and virtual participant list (name, credentials, city, state) is provided within 2 weeks after AAPP 2024
• MP4 recording of the live stream is provided within 2 weeks after AAPP 2024

  • Individualized link allowing promotion to invitees by provider in addition to AAPP marketing
  • Services of advanced audiovisual service provider and technician (2 total contractors for on-site management and streaming)

Showcase Guidelines

• Showcase applications must be reviewed and approved by AAPP to ensure information is suitable for conference attendees.
• Due to streaming, meal service will be limited to the first 15 minutes of the time slot and programming must begin promptly at the scheduled time.
• Regardless of the time slot, showcases are limited to 1 hour in length. If a 1.5-hour slot is awarded to a showcase, the schedule will be reduced accordingly.

All external continuing education programming intended for AAPP members attending this conference must be submitted to AAPP through the satellite symposia or showcase option. No outside events can be held at or in conjunction with AAPP’s Annual Meeting without review and approval from AAPP.
