Dr. Priddy is board certified in family medicine and is proud to serve as the past President for the American Academy of Private Physicians (AAPP), where he has held a seat on the Board of Directors since 2012. He completed his training at the IU School of Medicine and his residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, serving as Chief Resident his final year. A second-generation physician, Dr. Priddy is passionate about the positive outcomes empowered by personalized medicine and the degree of improved patient service that is offered by direct care practice models. He and his wife, Dr. Jen Priddy, live in Carmel and enjoy good food, travel, supporting the local arts, and entertaining friends.
Pamila Brar M.D.

Dr. Pamila Brar has practiced internal medicine in La Jolla, California since 1999. She opened her own concierge practice in 2009 where she utilizes technology to deliver highly individualized real-time medical care to patients at home, in the office, and across the care continuum.

She is board certified in both internal medicine and integrative holistic medicine. Pam received her MD from Louisiana State University at New Orleans and did her residency at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, CA where she served as chief resident in her final year.

As a patient engagement advocate, she routinely appears in local and national media on topics including the impact of U.S. politics on the health care consumer, medical weight loss options, developing and maintaining healthy habits, and utilizing text messaging to support positive lifestyle changes. Her approach is to deliver up-to-date, evidence-based information via technology designed to be immediately accessible to her patients and her audience.

To practice what she preaches, Pamila enjoys walks and meditation by the ocean and spending time with her beloved family. She loves reading, bargain shopping and fashion design.

James J. Eischen

James Eischen is a California attorney with over 26 years of experience representing commercial interests locally, nationally, and internationally. His clients have included medical groups/physicians, software/IT companies, industrial enterprises, financial institutions, real estate developers/managers, and telecommunications conglomerates.

Since 2009, Mr. Eischen has worked with healthcare clients in matters involving licensing and regulatory issues, including compliance with Medicaid and Medicare. He also advises in matters connected to reimbursement, contracts, interdisciplinary health professional employment and labor issues, and HIPAA compliance. He has done credentialing work for physician independent practice associations. His expertise includes structuring physician-patient agreements and medical group amenity packages/structures, and assisting companies delivering wellness products or programs, to ensure reimbursement and privacy compliance.

Mr. Eischen is a national expert in structuring consumer/patient financial contribution and reimbursement models for pri­vate/concierge medical groups and healthcare IT product developers to achieve federal legal compliance. Jim brings his experience as a consultant/founder with medical groups, electronic health record software firms, cardiovascular testing and health coaching enterprises, and venture capital groups exploring healthcare opportunities as secretary to the board of the AAPP.

Susan Bavisotto is the Patient Care Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Director of Training and Implementation for Access Healthcare Direct, located in Apex, NC. Susan has helped practices in 17 states learn how to optimize a DPC practice and has helped train their staff on the many day to day logistics within a practice as well as software implementation. Susan also serves as the executive director for the nonprofit DPCMH association.

Tom Blue has extensive experience developing innovative delivery models for primary care, preventive medicine, employer-sponsored wellness programs, and related technologies. He continues to drive the exploration and delivery of new innovations to the n1Health network of physicians.

Tom is recognized as an authority and a frequent speaker on the topics of concierge and fee-for-service medicine as well as employee health risk management. He has appeared on Fox Morning News, ABC News, CNET Live Radio, The New York Times, Industry Standard, Wired and numerous other programs and publications.

Tom Blue joined the AAPP in 2009 as the Executive Director, now the Chief Strategic Officer on the board of the AAPP. He brings a passion and vision for the industry that has brought momentum and expansion to the organization.
Mr. Blue believes this is an exciting time for the AAPP with the explosive growth in the field of private medicine. “We see private medicine as the “tip of the spear” – leading the way for benefits of new technology and innovation to reach patients. What you can do for patients is very exciting when you combine the luxury of time with technology and a thorough understanding of the individual.

Brian Forrest M.D.

Dr. Forrest completed medical school at UNC Chapel Hill and his residency in Family Medicine at Wake Forest University. He also completed a Holderness Medical Research Fellowship in Diabetic Hypertension and an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship in Public Health while at UNC Chapel Hill. He founded Access Healthcare P.A., Access Wellness, L.L.C., Innovadoc (now DBA Physician Care Direct) and Access Healthcare Direct. He is a pioneer in Direct Primary Care with his original clinic operating in this model for its twelfth year. He has helped physicians around the country to transition to new models of care such as the Access Healthcare Model. He teaches a class for UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine called “New Models of Care” and also “Disruptive Innovation in Health Care” Practicum for the NCSU Poole College of Management MBA program. He was a featured presenter at “12 Gurus,” a TED type presentation live on Broadway at New World Stages. He has made numerous TV and radio appearances and has been featured on the cover of Medical Economics and the Weekly Standard Magazine for his practice innovation. Currently, he is consulting with physicians in multiple states to transition to the Direct Care Model and manages a national network of similar practices. His clinical focus is on improving outcomes in cardiovascular disease. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for COSEHC. He is an amateur magician and teaches martial arts in the discipline of Hap Ki Do. Dr. Forrest was named as one of the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 under 40 and currently serves as Past President on the Board of Directors of the NC Academy of Family Physicians. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill and ECU and a Master Preceptor for the BCBSNC Family Medicine Scholars Program. He was recently appointed to the AAFP Commission on Quality and Practice.

Radley L. Griffin, M.D., a board-certified family medicine physician, joined the AAPP in 2008 and the AAPP Board of Directors in May 2014. Built from the ground up in 2008, his Tampa, FL concierge-style practice has recently added another physician to accommodate demand. Dr. Griffin enjoys educating medical students and residents about the delivery of private medicine as well as collaborating with other concierge/DPC doctors.

David Rosenberg, M.D., is a board certified Family Physician. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami in 1988 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at The Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania in 1991. After practicing Emergency Medicine at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center for two years, he started his private practice in Jupiter, in 1993.

Ms. Banyay, a long time marketing specialist, has been involved with the AAPP since its transition from SIMPD. In addition to working for one of the largest privately held ad agencies in the country, Ms. Banyay has worked on the conceptual and logistics side of healthcare conferences; over-seeing each meeting from beginning to end.

Ms. Banyay is the go-to for our members, sponsor partners, board of directors and our summits.
