The American Academy of Private Physicians (AAPP) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2003 for the purpose of supporting and fueling the growth of medical practices that provide “concierge” and other forms of personalized, value-based medical care.AAPP members are united by their common efforts and dedication to making medical care more accessible and convenient to patients by redefining and re-pricing medical services in ways that are not possible for medical practices that rely solely on insurance payers for their revenue. The product of this focus by private physicians is innovation aimed at:

  • Improving the quality of patient care and care coordination
  • Strengthening the bond between patients and their physicians
  • Empowering patients as health care consumers
  • Reducing the cost of health care though diligent management of emerging health risks and chronic conditions

As a member, you understand the value of your AAPP membership. Help spread the word with your supplier contacts and physician peers, to help build and expand our association. A growing AAPP means greater recognition for private medicine, concierge medicine and direct primary care practices, which translates into more resources to support member programs, and a stronger voice when advocating issues with state and national legislative members.
